SCS Conducts Inspections at ‘Arinj Mall’
The State Revenue Committee (SRC) has been conducting inspections since 10:30 AM at the ‘Arinj Mall’ shopping center. This decision by the SRC follows a complaint that claims the booths are charging more in rent than what is legally permitted while showing a lower customer count.
According to Samvel Hakobyan, the director of ‘Arinj Mall’, the complaint regarding rent fees is baseless and cannot be substantiated by anyone. Employees have expressed their dissatisfaction, stating that they have been forced to close their booths when every hour is crucial for earning their daily bread.
In an interview with Armday.am, MP Gevorg Petrosyan remarked that Prime Minister Pashinyan is likely not being fed accurate information. “What has happened at ‘Arinj Mall’? Are there criminals? Are they terrorists? Forty individuals in uniforms are coming in to conduct inspections. These are people earning their daily bread here, and no one is engaged in illegal activities. It seems that previous practices are continuing. The SRC should focus on hunting down the true thieves of this country,” he stated during an interview with the media.
