One of the Coordinators of the 'Dukhov Hayastan' Page Arrested: NSS

One of the coordinators of the 'Dukhov Hayastan' fake page on the social media platform Facebook has been arrested.

This was reported by Samson Galstyan, the spokesperson for the National Security Service (NSS), in response to Tert.am's inquiry regarding the legal proceedings concerning the arrested fake user.

“Criminal proceedings have been initiated under the first point of the second part of Article 226 of the Criminal Code. A preventive measure of arrest has been selected by the court against him. The pre-trial investigation is ongoing,” said Samson Galstyan.

It is noteworthy that the second part of the first point of Article 226 of the RA Criminal Code defines inciting national, racial, or religious hatred, which has been carried out publicly or by using media.

It should be reminded that earlier, NSS Director Arthur Vanetsyan announced that following the Prime Minister's directive against fake accounts, one individual, a user of the 'Dukhov Hayastan' fake page, has been arrested.
