Citizen Attempts Suicide from Victory Bridge in Yerevan

On April 9, at 19:54, information was reported to the "911" service that a citizen was attempting to commit suicide by jumping from the Victory Bridge in Yerevan. Rescuers were needed.

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that an operational group from the National Crisis Management Center was dispatched to the scene, along with an instructor from the Psychological Support Department (who returned due to the situation being resolved) and one firefighting unit.

Rescuers were able to prevent the citizen's suicide attempt. Police officers then transported the individual to the Central Police Department.
