A Thick-Trunked Tree Falls on Mashtots Avenue, Paralyzing Traffic

Emergency situations arose this evening in Yerevan. On Mashtots Avenue, a thick-trunked tree fell onto the road, blocking it completely, as reported by Shamshyan.com.

Fortunately, cars passing by at the time of the fall managed to brake and avoided unforeseen consequences. However, as a result of the incident, huge traffic jams occurred on the already congested avenue.

This is not the first incident of this kind, and the main reason is that many of the edge trees on Mashtots Avenue are in a state of partial decay, the media outlet reports.
