VIDEO: Language Dispute Between Priest and Alen Simonian

A group of protesters today held a demonstration in the National Assembly garden, opposing the recent session in the Parliament that involved a transgender participant.

Some members of Parliament came out to meet with the protesters.

During the dialogue with the protesters, Deputy Speaker Alen Simonian said that no political force should be blamed, “not even Naira Zohrabyan.” According to him, neither Zohrabyan nor anyone else could have known the subject at hand.

“You are wandering in the street and cannot identify who is who,” Simonian said, struggling to respond to the numerous questions from the protesters.
