LIVE: Tension and Scuffles Outside Yerevan Court

The Yerevan General Jurisdiction Court has decided to detain David Ghazaryan, the director of the "Spayka" company.

Currently, around 500 employees of the company are holding a protest in front of the court building. The situation is quite tense, with scuffles breaking out between citizens and police. The protesters have blocked the road used to transport David Ghazaryan to custody.

They are declaring that they will not leave the court premises until Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan arrives. One participant of the protest stated, "We demand the presence of the Prime Minister of the Republic; if he does not show up here, we will start civil disobedience on a nationwide scale."

It is worth noting that according to the State Revenue Committee, the "Spayka" company has failed to pay a customs duty and taxes amounting to 7 billion drams, arising from its entrepreneurial activities.
