50,000 Dram Bribe Paid to a Medical Worker in a Prison

On April 5, detectives from the Masis division of the police, acting on received information, in collaboration with officers from the Ararat regional department, detained two brothers from the village of Ayntap on suspicion of possession and use of illegal drugs and bribery.

It turned out that on the same day, around 8:00 PM, according to a verbal agreement, they paid a bribe of 50,000 drams to a medical worker from a prison near the bridge in the village of Getapnya, so that he would smuggle four mobile phones into the prison and deliver them to their father. On April 6, at 12:10 AM, the medical worker was detained by police in Masis in his vehicle and presented the mobile phones. The circumstances are being clarified. An investigation is underway.
