Ministry Allocates Vital Pediatric Anti-Cancer Medications

The field of oncology is a priority in the current policy of the Ministry of Health.

By the order of Health Minister Arsen Torosyan, the "Prof. R.H. Yolian Blood Center" has been allocated vital pediatric anti-cancer medications used in the field, specifically:

1. Cisplatin 1mg/ml 50mg - 125 vials
2. Etoposide 20mg/ml 5ml - 500 vials
3. Filgrastim (Acofil) 48Mmu/0.5ml - 165 vials
4. Ondansetron 2mg/ml 4ml - 800 vials

It should be noted that at the end of the year, the government approved a project to amend decision N502, which regulates the acquisition of unregistered medications by the Ministry of Health using state funds.

At the same time, we inform that in 2019, the acquisition of 14 types of anti-cancer medications was carried out over the span of a year. The allocations will have a continuous nature.
