The Law on Restoring the Turnover Tax Threshold Should Be Passed as Soon as Possible: Head of the State Revenue Committee

I believe that the law on restoring the turnover tax threshold should be passed as soon as possible. This was announced by the head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, during a press conference held today.

“The package of the Tax Code has already been submitted to the National Assembly, and it is currently in the legislative body. I know that at this moment there is still no taxpayer who has exceeded the threshold of 58 million drams, but the sooner, the better, so that our taxpayers have the opportunity to apply this legal provision retroactively,” he noted.

It should be recalled that the draft of the new Tax Code envisages raising the existing turnover tax threshold and giving the law retroactive effect.
