Financial Reports Distorted at the Ministry and Water Committee: Official
The Republic of Armenia's Audit Chamber has presented the current conclusions regarding the audits conducted at the Ministry of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources and the Water Committee of the Republic of Armenia. These conclusions were confirmed at the session of the Audit Chamber on March 29, 2019.
As a result of the audit conducted at the Ministry of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources, the Audit Chamber issued a "non-full conclusion" based on significant discrepancies and distortions identified in the financial and economic activities of High Voltage Electric Networks CJSC, resulting in the distortion of financial reports.
Similarly, a "non-full conclusion" was also provided following the audit at the Water Committee of the Ministry of Energy Infrastructure and Natural Resources. Significant discrepancies and distortions were recorded, which led to the distortion of financial reports.
At the same time, it is reported that during the inspection at High Voltage Electric Networks CJSC, materials containing signs of apparent crimes in two separate directions have been sent to the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia, and the details are also included in the current conclusion.
The current conclusions also include recommendations addressed to the Government of the Republic of Armenia and the audited entities,” the report from the Republic of Armenia's Audit Chamber states.
