Snow Falls in Certain Communities of Armenia

The Ministry of Emergency Situations informs that as of April 2, at 20:30, there are closed and difficult-to-pass roads in the territory of Armenia.

The Vardenyats Pass is closed for trucks with trailers, while the Dilijan serpentine roads are closed for trucks.

The Vardenyats Pass and the Sotk-Karvachar road are difficult to traverse.

There is black ice on the Alagyaz-Charchakis and Alagyaz-Melikgyugh roads in the Aragatsotn Province.

Snow is falling in the Dilijan serpentine roads, the city of Hrazdan in Kotayk Province, Stepanavan in Lori Province, the city of Spitak, Aparan, Aragadz, and in the regions of Ashotsk and Ani in Shirak Province. Blizzards are also reported in the Ashotsk region.

Drivers are advised to travel exclusively on winter tires.
