Meeting Between Pashinyan and the Head of the State Revenue Committee Concludes: What Are the Outcomes?
The meeting between Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan and the head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, has concluded. Pashinyan summarized the results of the meeting in a post on his Facebook page.
According to Pashinyan:
- The plan for state budget revenues was exceeded by 11.4 billion drams in the first quarter. It is noteworthy that our budget reserve fund is 9.4 billion drams for the entire year. This means that in the first quarter, we exceeded the reserve fund by 2 billion drams.
- In the first quarter, 26.4 billion drams were returned to entrepreneurs, which surpasses the same figure from the previous year by 7.4 billion drams.
- In March 2019, 8,361,119 more tax receipts were printed compared to March of the previous year. In the first quarter of 2019, the number of printed tax receipts increased by 20,710,114 compared to the first quarter of the previous year.
- The appeals commission of the State Revenue Committee heard 506 appeals in the first quarter, of which 288 were accepted, meaning more than half. (During the same period last year, 152 appeals were heard, of which 78 were accepted.) This statistic not only indicates an increase in mutual trust between tax authorities and the business environment but also significantly relieves the judicial system.
