Opera Staff Meets with Prime Minister

The staff of the Alexander Spendiaryan Opera and Ballet National Academic Theatre has organized a protest action in front of the government building.

Participants in the protest are demanding the reinstatement of Konstantin Orbelyan, who was recently dismissed from the position of director, as well as the resignation of the acting Minister of Culture Nazeni Gharibyan.

The Prime Minister's press secretary Vladimir Karapetyan approached the protesters, after which it was decided that a group of 7 participants from the action would be allowed inside to meet with Nikol Pashinyan.

The meeting is currently underway.
