Lawyer to Be Arrested in Connection with Bribery Case Involving Judge

A decision has been made to arrest the lawyer involved in the bribery case concerning the judge of the Court of General Jurisdiction of Kotayk Region, Gagik Heboyan.

According to information from ‘Factinfo’, the investigator has issued a decision for his arrest, which has been assigned to the police for execution. However, the lawyer has yet to be located.

In response to a query from the website, the Special Investigative Service has not yet commented, promising to address the issue later.

It is noteworthy that Judge Gagik Heboyan has been charged under Part 4, Points 2 and 3 of Article 311 of the RA Criminal Code for receiving a particularly large bribe with the assistance of the lawyer. The sum in question amounts to $3,500.
