Elections in Ukraine: Vladimir Zelensky is the frontrunner
After the presidential elections held in Ukraine, Vladimir Zelensky is in first place based on the number of votes, followed by the current President Petro Poroshenko in second place. This is reported by Korrespondent.net.
According to the Central Election Commission, 30.16% of Ukrainians voted for Vladimir Zelensky. In second place is Poroshenko with 16.69%. Third place is occupied by Yulia Tymoshenko, who received 13.08% of the votes.
Moreover, Zelensky received the majority of votes in all regions of Ukraine, except for Donetsk and Lugansk, where Poroshenko is in the leading position.
In the foreign voting precincts, 91.08% of the votes have been counted. Here, Petro Poroshenko received the most votes at 38.63%, while Vladimir Zelensky gathered 25.83%.
