Jolie's Call to Women

Actress Angelina Jolie has announced that it is necessary to increase the involvement of women in peacekeeping missions and to protect them during armed conflicts. This was reported by TASS.

It was noted that the actress made this statement during a high-level meeting with peacekeepers as a UN goodwill ambassador.

Jolie specifically pointed out that the number of women in peacekeeping missions should be increased.

“I am confident that the more women are involved in UN missions, the higher the effectiveness of those missions will be,” Jolie remarked.

She also called for protecting those women who “take their fate into their own hands.”
