Two Dozen NSS Employees Enter Metro: 'Zhamanak'

‘Zhamanak’ newspaper reports: ‘Recently, we wrote that serious violations are present in the Yerevan Metro. For years, the metro has declared significant losses, receiving enormous state subsidies from the government.

This has been made possible also due to Ani Gspoyan, who coordinates the metro's purchases. She is considered the right hand of Rafael Mashadyan, the Deputy Head of the State Revenue Committee (SRC), and the daughter of Edik Gspoyan, the head of the SRC’s large taxpayers inspection.

According to our information, following our publication, about two dozen employees from the NSS entered the metro, conducted extensive inspections, and sealed doors.

It is not ruled out that as a result of these inspections, arrests may occur, including of the SRC official’s daughter, and dismissals might take place involving the metro director, Paylak Yayloyan. It is noteworthy that following our publication, the Arabkir Division of the Police is also addressing this issue.’
