Panic Erupts in Sanitek

Panic Erupts in Sanitek

The newspaper "Zhoghovurd" reports that panic has erupted within the waste management company "Sanitek" following a public warning from Yerevan’s Mayor Hayk Marutyan.

After the Mayor’s statement, the company’s leadership convened a meeting. According to employees, the management urged them not to lose hope, suggesting that garbage trucks and bins would soon be brought to Armenia, and everything would be fine.

However, the company’s employees are skeptical, believing that management's promises are merely formalities, as similar declarations have been made for over a year.

Furthermore, in an interview with the "Zhoghovurd" newspaper, employees stated that they have not been provided with employment contracts for over a year and a half.

The acting head of the Yerevan municipality's communal economy department, Ararat Khachikyan, mentioned in an interview with "Zhoghovurd" that he will be meeting with the director of "Sanitek", Nicolas Tavil, to discuss the issues at hand.
