No Misconduct Recorded in Yerevan Metro, Spokesperson Says

The spokesperson of the "Karen Demirchyan Yerevan Metro" LLC, Tatevik Khachatryan, announced that no misconduct has been recorded in the Yerevan metro, at least over the past two years. Thus, she denied media reports stating that about two dozen employees from the National Security Service had recently entered the metro to conduct extensive inspections and seal doors.

Addressing rumors that the metro has been declaring significant losses for years while receiving large state subsidies, and that this was made possible due to the purchases managed by Ani Gspoyan, Khachatryan noted that Gspoyan has only been working at the metro for the last two years and could not have any influence on the processes.

At the same time, the spokesperson reported that during Ani Gspoyan's period of employment, the metro operated at a profit.
