Many Gas Stations Have Removed POS Terminals for Faster Receipt Issuance: Ananyan
After today’s government meeting, during a conversation with journalists about the liberalization of the field of importing and selling cash registers and the limitations on the operations of the cash register implementation agency, the head of the State Revenue Committee, Davit Ananyan, stated that currently, around 24,000 organizations have applied to use new generation cash registers, with half of those having been approved. Approximately six thousand cash register receipts have already been issued, and around three thousand cash registers remain uncollected.
Ananyan also addressed complaints regarding gas stations not issuing cash register receipts, stating that strict administrative measures are being implemented in this regard. Many gas stations have moved their cash register devices outside and placed them in visible areas to issue receipts as quickly as possible. According to him, there is an unyielding fight against the failure to provide cash register receipts.
