Dolphins Mass Stranding on French Coasts
French researchers are alarmed as dolphins are mass stranding along the country's coasts. According to Associated Press, in 2019 alone, 1,100 marine mammals washed ashore on the Atlantic Ocean coastline.
These numbers have surpassed the previous year's record and have become the highest in the last 40 years.
"Never before has there been such a quantity," said Billy Dobbin, a researcher at La Rochelle University’s research center.
