Armenia to Provide Humanitarian Aid to Iran
Armenia will provide humanitarian aid to Iran. During today’s government meeting, Minister of Emergency Situations Felix Tsolakyan announced that organizational work will begin today or tomorrow.
“However, the matter is that we are organizing this through the Russian-Armenian humanitarian center, which will also be involved. We are sending technical equipment, vehicles, and rescue teams,” the minister stated.
According to him, there will not be a government project, but a decision by the Prime Minister regarding the mission.
“I believe this is very important assistance that we need to provide to our friendly country. If there is an urgency, I think that if calculations are made today, we can organize it,” said Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan.
It is noteworthy that at least 25 people have died due to devastating floods in several provinces of Iran that began last week.
