Ara Minasyan's Arrest Warrant Has Been Revoked
The decision to declare a search warrant for Ara Minasyan, the former director of the Surb Grigor Lusavorich Medical Center, has been revoked. This was reported by the public relations department of the Prosecutor General's Office of Armenia in a conversation with Armtimes.com.
During the pre-trial investigation, the investigator had decided to issue an arrest warrant for Minasyan. The defense appealed this decision to the first instance court, which upheld the appeal. Subsequently, the supervising prosecutor filed an appeal against this decision, but the court rejected the appeal yesterday, thereby maintaining the first instance court's ruling.
Ara Minasyan has been charged with large-scale theft and document forgery.
