8 People Poisoned by Carbon Monoxide: Details
On March 28, at 11:30 AM, the hospital reported to the Martuni police station that five residents of the village of Vaghashen were taken to the hospital with a diagnosis of "poisoning of unknown etiology".
The police reported that the dispatched operational group found that they had been poisoned around 3:00 AM that same day in one of the houses on 27th Street in Vaghashen, due to a carbon monoxide leak from a wood stove in the living room.
An investigation has been initiated. An inquiry is ongoing.
Already on March 29, at 1:30 AM, the hospital informed the Mashtots police station that three individuals from building 38 on Leningrad Street were taken to the hospital with a diagnosis of "carbon monoxide poisoning".
The dispatched operational group found that the individuals were poisoned due to a gas leak from a boiler located in their kitchen.
