Video: 2800 Firs Dedicated to Yerevan's 2800th Anniversary Are in the City Nursery

In honor of Yerevan's 2800th anniversary, 2800 fir trees received as a gift from the Ostalb district are now under permanent care at the city nursery.

“The fir trees have been brought from Germany and have a very good origin. We could have planted them, but that is outside our policy; they will undergo appropriate care. There will be control over all saplings, and each planting must meet proper size, shape, and maintenance criteria before being placed in a common use area,” stated Khachik Hakobyan, head of the Environmental Protection Department of the Yerevan Municipality.
