Hooliganism at 'Belagio': Stones Thrown, Insults Launched

A hooligan incident occurred at the 'Belagio' restaurant complex on Myasnikyan Avenue in Yerevan on March 27. Around 3:00 PM, the Central Police Department received a call reporting that a citizen was exhibiting aggressive behavior in the entertainment hall located on the second floor of the restaurant; he was continuously shouting sexual insults at the staff and musicians, disrupting the enjoyment of other patrons.

According to Shamshyan.com, when the individuals present confronted him about his behavior, he retaliated by throwing stones and metal rods from an elevated area adjacent to the restaurant complex at the building, resulting in shattered windows.

Police officers determined that the individual was 31-year-old Seryozha M. from S. Khanzadyan Street in Yerevan. The police are taking necessary measures to locate him and to identify others who were with him at the time of the incident.

Sources indicate that prior to causing a ruckus at the 'Belagio' restaurant complex, Seryozha M. had also assaulted another individual in the Center administrative area just hours earlier.
