Cameras in Buses Operational, Drivers Have No Objections

The work and quality style of not only the head of the administrative district but all districts and the city hall as a whole has been evident in the past years, and that is why what happened last year took place. This was noted by the Mayor of Yerevan, Hayk Marutyan, during a conversation with journalists, in response to the observation that a few days ago, the former head of the Davtashen administrative district, Ruslan Baghdasaryan, stated that Hayk Marutyan has not fulfilled any of his promises and also invited him to a public debate.

In response to a clarifying question from a journalist regarding whether he would participate in the debate, Hayk Marutyan responded only with a wry gesture of his face.

Speaking about the city hall's initiative to install cameras in buses, Hayk Marutyan said that this process is ongoing. “Naturally, the cameras are present, they are operational, and the drivers have no objections. In any case, once everything was explained and became clear, this will continue. This is a practice used all over the world. It is a matter of our safety,” he added.
