What Has the Newly Appointed Advisor to the Minister of Defense Declared? Facts

The newspaper "Pats" reports that Ashot Balasanyan, the newly appointed advisor to the Minister of Defense of Armenia, has submitted his declaration to the Commission on Ethics of High-Ranking Officials as of his appointment in 2019.

According to the document published on the official website of the Ethics Commission, he has declared a private house as well as a TOYOTA 4 RUNNER 4.0 vehicle.

As of the date of his appointment, the monetary assets of the declarant official amounted to 2,000,000 AMD.

From January 1 of the year Ashot Balasanyan assumed his official duties until the day he officially took office, his income was reported to be 990,000 AMD, which was derived from salary.

It is noteworthy that Balasanyan was appointed as an advisor to the Minister of Defense on March 5, 2019.
