The Incident in the Meghri Military Unit was Caused by Soldiers Growing Cannabis in the Flowerbed

The newspaper "Joghvorud" reports: Recently, it became known that conscript soldiers from one of the military units in Meghri had voluntarily left their post, thereby expressing their protest. Following this, they marched, demonstrating their allegiance to the criminal world. However, on March 17, they were transferred to disciplinary units in Kapan and then Stepanakert, from where they were sent to the front lines.

An investigation is underway regarding the recorded incident. Some details related to this investigation have been disclosed to the "Joghvorud" newspaper.

Specifically, we learned that the incident actually arose after the military command discovered how the soldiers had been growing cannabis in the unit's flowerbed. Furthermore, according to information we have received, law enforcement has identified that among the soldiers wishing to impose their own moral standards was also the son of a general. As for who this general is, we are not disclosing this at present due to concerns about obstructing the preliminary investigation.
