Death Toll from Floods in Iran Reaches 25, Over 200 Injured

At least 25 people have died due to floods in Iran, with more than 200 injured and tens of thousands displaced, according to Tasnim news agency.

On the previous day, the head of the Iranian Red Crescent's rescue and relief organization, Morteza Salimi, informed ISNA about the deaths of 23 individuals in various provinces, including Fars, Kermanshah, Lorestan, Kohgiluyeh and Boyer-Ahmad, and Khuzestan due to the flooding. The disaster also caused damage in northern Iran, specifically in Golestan and Mazandaran provinces.

Iranian President Hassan Rouhani has promised to compensate citizens for their losses.

Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has sent a condolence message to Hassan Rouhani and offered Armenia's assistance.
