Russia Proposes to Revoke Drivers' Licenses from Drug Addicts

The Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs has proposed to revoke the right to drive vehicles and work in hazardous industries from drug addicts. This was reported by Igor Zubov, a representative of the ministry, as stated by РИА Новости.

Commenting on the initiative, Zubov referred to foreign practices. He noted that they are gathering information from the source regarding this initiative and will discuss whether it is feasible to implement it in Russia as well.

The deputy minister emphasized that the ministry has already sent inquiries to representatives from 46 countries to obtain data on solutions to the issue of drug addiction.
