Armenian Tricolor Raised in Nepal: Armenian Climbers Hoist Flag atop Island Peak
Armenian climbers Gevorg Gasparyan and Vahan Ghazaryan have raised the Armenian tricolor on the summit of Island Peak (6189 m), one of the most interesting and beautiful mountains in the Himalayas. Gasparyan shared their photo on Facebook.
“Nepal, Island Peak, 6189m, the Armenian tricolor was raised at 7:15 AM,” he wrote.
