Yerevan Prosecutor Appeals Verdict of Noratus-based Alik and Charbakh-based Gegham
The criminal authorities represented by Alik Banduryan, known as Alik from Noratus, and Petros Israelian, known as Gegham from Charbakh, have their verdicts challenged by Yerevan Prosecutor Gevorg Baghdasaryan.
According to information from the judicial information system, the Prosecutor is demanding a complete annulment and alteration of the verdict delivered by the Yerevan Court of General Jurisdiction. He seeks to find the defendant Petros Israelian guilty of committing a crime under Article 104, Part 2, Clause 7 of the RA Criminal Code (murder committed by a group of individuals or an organized group) and to impose a sentence of 14 years of imprisonment. The Prosecutor also requests that Alik Banduryan be found guilty under Article 38-112, Part 2, Clause 6 (inciting serious harm to health, committed by an organized group) and receive a sentence of 8 years of imprisonment. Furthermore, the defendant Armen Gasparyan is to be found guilty under Article 335, Part 1 (failure to report a crime) and face a sentence of 1 year and 6 months of imprisonment.
