VIDEO. No one should think that we will forget why we gathered, says Pashinyan

During a special session of the Armenian government, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan also stated that the rectors who have turned the university system into party cells, and have closed the door on students, have no place in the new Armenia. He emphasized that this is his clear position.

In an interview with Tert.am, Yerevan State University Rector Aram Simonyan addressed Pashinyan's statement.

“I just learned about the Prime Minister's statement; I don’t know what the discussion is about. Naturally, the Prime Minister knows what he is saying. I cannot comment in any way; we have neither closed the door nor created a party cell at the university,” said Simonyan.
