Announcement Regarding Cleaning Works of the National Assembly

“Kliners” LLC has issued a statement concerning the cleaning works of the National Assembly of the Republic of Armenia. The announcement particularly states:

“Considering the complaints of the cleaners of the National Assembly staff in recent days and the public resonance surrounding these issues, we find it necessary to provide clarifications.

“Kliners” LLC participated in and was recognized as the winner of the cleaning competition announced by the staff of the National Assembly for the administrative building in September 2018, offering the lowest price among 7 participants.

“Kliners” LLC was established in 2014 and is a specialized company in this field, with a wide range of clients (both public and private organizations). At the same time, we feel it is necessary to state that the company is not constrained by any connections with representatives of either past or present authorities. Moreover, we officially declare that “Kliners” LLC has not undertaken any obligations beyond the contractual obligations with the leadership of the National Assembly, whether with representatives of the previous or current administration.

According to the contract signed with the National Assembly staff, the company is obliged to provide cleaning services for the Assembly building with at least 60 employees at a rate of 105,000 Armenian drams. Since the duration of the work is 2 hours, the company has decided to compensate the cleaners at half the rate according to the calculated payment. The company has not undertaken any other obligation (official or unofficial) and is guided solely by the contract signed between the parties. We consider various speculations on this topic to be directed and biased, aimed at disrupting the normal operations of the company.

The company also reports that should there be any hindrance to its work or failure to fulfill the contractual obligations, it will seek judicial resolution of the matter.”
