Video: I regret my child standing at the border, protecting them: National Assembly cleaners express dissatisfaction

The cleaners of the National Assembly are protesting against the reduction of their salaries and threatening to leave their jobs starting from April 1.

A correspondent from NEWS.am reported that the cleaners were informed today that their salaries had been reduced from 67,000 to 40,000 AMD, as they work five days a week from 7 AM to 10 AM.

“They left it until a week remained for our contracts to be terminated; people announced a salary of 40,000. I have a soldier, I am a single mother of many, I take care of an elderly mother-in-law and my brother-in-law. How can I cope with so many bank loans? Is it because of a good life that they go under debt? How can there be such a disrespectful attitude? I regret my child standing at the border, protecting them,” said one of the cleaners in an interview with the media.
