Rap Concert of Karen Tuz and Ego at Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall Canceled; Tombstone-Like Poster Removed

On March 21, a poster was displayed near the A. Spendiaryan National Academic Theatre of Opera and Ballet, announcing a concert featuring rappers Karen Tuz and Ego, scheduled to take place on April 19 at the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

The poster sparked intense discussions, with social media users complaining about the concert's format and the artists' "incompatibility" with the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall.

According to Ruzaan Sirunyan, the director of the concert hall, the concert will not take place.

"The poster was put up yesterday and has already been removed today. The concert is not happening. We have no contract with those artists," Sirunyan noted, adding that the poster was displayed without the concert hall's approval.
