Defense Minister Orders Inquiry to Military Prosecutor's Office: Arzroun Hovhannesyan

The Minister of Defense of Armenia has ordered to apply to the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia. This was announced by the spokesperson of the Ministry of Defense, Arzroun Hovhannesyan.

During the accountability session of the Ministry of Defense held in the National Assembly today, in connection with the concerns and public statements raised, the Minister of Defense has instructed to approach the Military Prosecutor's Office of the Republic of Armenia to take measures to verify the credibility of the statements made and to provide a criminal-legal assessment of these public statements if necessary.

Regarding some concerns raised about hindrances to the entrepreneurial activities of commercial organizations in the defense industry, it is noted that investments in the defense sector have been carried out with the direct participation and support of the Ministry of Defense of the Republic of Armenia, including by the organizations mentioned.
