Why the Education Minister Started an Audit in a Special School

The newspaper "Hraparak" reports: "On April 8, a director's election is expected at a special educational complex for children with hearing impairments. On February 7, the five-year term of the former director Hasmik Badalyan expired, and Education Minister Arayik Harutyunyan appointed a temporary acting director, Lusine Babayan, who is also a lecturer at the Pedagogical University, and immediately began an audit at the school to prevent the former director’s candidacy.

Yesterday, Badalyan told us that she has not yet 'decided' whether she will apply for the position. Is it possible that abuses may be discovered in the school? She ruled it out. The audit will conclude at the end of March, and whether or not she will apply for the position depends on its results, and when asked whether it could be used as a 'weapon' against her, Badalyan sharply replied: 'No, it has nothing to do with that.'"
