Video: Authorities Attempt to Identify Woman Who Stole from Nail Salon

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is taking measures to identify an individual responsible for theft at a nail salon in Yerevan's Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts.

On December 29, 2018, at 22:55, the Central Police Department of Armenia received a report from a citizen stating that between 17:40 and 18:30 on December 28, 2019, their wallet had been secretly stolen from their bag in the waiting area of a nail salon located on Tumanyan Street in Yerevan. The wallet contained bank cards and cash, resulting in a property damage of 308,000 AMD.

A criminal case was initiated on January 5, 2019, at the Central Police Department under Article 177, Part 1 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia, where the pre-trial investigation is being conducted by the Investigative Committee's Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts.

During the investigation, footage from the surveillance cameras installed in the nail salon has been obtained and is under examination.

To ensure a comprehensive, objective, and complete investigation of the criminal case, efforts are being made to identify the individual captured on the video footage.

We urge the mentioned individual to appear before the investigating authority, or anyone who recognizes them or has any information regarding their identity or whereabouts to inform the Investigative Committee's Kentron and Norq-Marash administrative districts.
