Eduard Babayan is in Court: Details

The trial regarding the criminal case of Eduard Babayan, a member of the National Assembly from the "Prosperous Armenia" faction, has started at the Court of General Jurisdiction in Yerevan. Babayan stated in a conversation with journalists that he does not accept the charges. "Of course, I do not accept them," he said.

It is worth noting that prior to becoming a parliament member, Babayan was the head of the security service for Gagik Tsarukyan, the leader of Prosperous Armenia. Babayan is accused of intentionally causing serious harm to the health of 50-year-old Vyacheslav Harutyunov at the "Olympavan" sports complex.
