Why the City Hall Engineer Has Ended Up in the Defendants' Chair

The engineer of the "Center Cleaning" LLC of the Yerevan City Hall, Arman Avagyan, has found himself in the defendants' chair.

According to information received by the newspaper "Zhoghavorud", Avagyan is accused of participating in the embezzlement of another party’s property in particularly large quantities while serving as the security engineer from July 18, 2008, to April 1, 2009, and as the chief engineer from April 1, 2009, to December 26, 2011, under the organization of the company’s head Samvel Yeghoyan.

Interestingly, part of this case has been separated, and an investigation is underway, meaning it is quite possible that former, and perhaps even current, other employees of the city hall may also find themselves in the defendants' chair.
