Abnormal Heat in Yerevan Also a Consequence of the Destruction of Green Areas, Surenyan

Mr. Marutyan, restore the ruthlessly destroyed green areas of Yerevan.

Addressing the recent outcry, the head of the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations' meteorological service, Gagik Surenyan, wrote on his Facebook page.

"I can confidently say that the abnormal heat observed in Yerevan over the past decade and the high level of air pollution are also a consequence of the destruction of green areas," he concluded.
