VIDEO: A mobile phone was stolen from the service center

The Investigative Committee of the Republic of Armenia is taking steps to clarify the circumstances of the alleged theft of a mobile phone from the service center of a telecommunications company operating in Yerevan, as part of a criminal case being investigated by the Central and Norq-Marash investigative division.

On October 25, 2018, a report was received at the Central Police Department regarding an individual who allegedly committed a crime by secretly stealing an 'HTC' mobile phone from the display window of the service center located on Teryan Street in Yerevan, causing property damage.

A criminal case has been initiated at the Central Police Department under the first part of Article 177 of the RA Criminal Code, with the pre-investigation being carried out by the Investigative Division of the Central and Norq-Marash administrative districts of Yerevan.

During the pre-investigation, the representative of the victim provided the investigative body with security camera footage from the company's showroom, which has been examined. The recording clearly shows the act of theft committed by an unknown individual.

To ensure a comprehensive, objective, and complete investigation of the criminal case, measures are being taken to locate the individual captured on the video.
