Man Falls from 3rd Floor While Working on Construction in Yerevan, Dies on the Spot

Today, on March 12, a tragic incident occurred in Yerevan. Around 11:00 AM, a report was received by the police department indicating that there was a body of a man in the yard of building 10 on Mashtots Avenue. This information comes from shamshyan.com.

According to photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan from the scene, an operational group from the police department, headed by Chief Arman Papyan, arrived promptly.

Currently, officers from the criminal investigation department of the same police precinct, led by Senior Investigator Suren Bagratuni, are carrying out duties at the scene until the investigative team of the Investigative Committee of Armenia arrives from the Central and Norq Marash administrative districts. The police have established that the deceased was Artavazd Simonian, a resident of the Malatia-Sebastia administrative district of Yerevan. He was a construction worker, and along with his colleagues, was performing renovation work on the 3rd floor of the building when Simonian fell from the window. The police are also waiting for the arrival of a forensic doctor at the scene.
