Two Armenians Injured in Shooting Incident in Volgograd
According to information provided by the Russian Embassy in Armenia, two ethnic Armenian citizens of Russia were injured during a shooting that took place on March 10 in the city of Frolovo, Volgograd region. As a result of the incident, a Russian citizen also lost their life.
A source in law enforcement reported that the shooting was triggered by a dispute involving an individual from Dagestan. Six Dagestani citizens arrived for clarification purposes. They entered a store in Frolovo owned by a mixed Armenian-Azerbaijani family. The confrontation initially had a domestic nature.
All participants in the dispute from the Armenian-Azerbaijani family are businessmen involved in trade. According to one of the participants, it was the Dagestanis who opened fire first.
