Ethiopian Airlines Plane Crashes in Africa with 157 Onboard

An Ethiopian Airlines plane has crashed in Africa. The newly acquired Boeing 737 MAX 8 was carrying 157 passengers at the time, including 8 crew members. According to Reuters, the aircraft was on a flight to Kenya. It was reported that the plane disappeared from radar just 6 minutes after takeoff. The Prime Minister of Ethiopia has stated that there are casualties; however, no further details are available at this time.
