«Ellipsi Gugo» in Panic: Undercover Attempts to Retaliate Against Protesters

For several days now, the representatives of the "Ellips" and "Security Dream" companies, brothers Aleksan and Gurgen Zakaryan, have begun undercover actions against employees who participated in a protest action on March 1 in front of the "Ellips" LLC located at 27 Nikoghayos Tigranian Street, Yerevan.

According to Shamshyan.com, the brothers are attempting to spread false information that participants of the protest did not record a significant number of traffic violations. They are also trying to justify that the employees sitting in front of the cameras deliberately failed to record violations committed by drivers who are relatives of the protest participants.

As reported by SHAMSHYAN.com, Aleksan Zakaryan has urged his brother, known to the public as "Ellipsi Gugo," that he cannot dismiss employees on such grounds. The latter asserted that he cannot tolerate the fact that a protest took place against him. Meanwhile, participants of the protest have publicly voiced their issues and have not acted covertly like the Zakaryan brothers have.

They have already been invited several times to law enforcement agencies as witnesses, and it will soon be clarified what status they will hold, as the matter involves particularly large amounts of embezzlement.

As photojournalist Gagik Shamshyan previously reported, the protest was spontaneous, with participants declaring that they are all against Gugo Zakaryan. "We demand that Aleksan and Gurgen Zakaryan reconsider their decision and not dismiss Glechyan from work," they said.

In an interview with the photojournalist, participants expressed their grievances regarding the brothers' attempts to dismiss A. Glechyan from work. "A. Glechyan does not dance under their flute, yet they are forcing him to lay off employees and reduce salaries, while A. Glechyan has argued and justified that salaries should not only not be reduced, but there is also room for increases." Meanwhile, the Zakaryan brothers seem to behave like the hero of a well-known fairy tale, where the monster sits at the water’s edge, saying, 'I won't give water until I eat a girl.' Now our problem and demand is just: let them not pour oil on the fire for no reason. We will use all legal forms of struggle until justice prevails, and it is not in vain that the popular saying goes, 'the village stands, the oak will break.'
