Manager of Tavern Owned by Tsarukyan's Relative Stabbed
An emergency incident occurred recently in the Kotayk region. According to Shamshyan.com, at around 19:20, a call was received at the police department of Kotayk from the Abovyan Medical Center, reporting that a young man had been admitted with stab wounds.
According to G. Shamshyan, police established that the victim is Vahagn Gabrielyan, a 25-year-old resident of Abovyan city and the manager of the 'Armenia' tavern located at the outskirts of Balakhovit village in the Kotayk region.
The police are investigating where the manager was stabbed.
The photojournalist also reports that the aforementioned tavern is owned by a relative of Gagik Tsarukyan, the head of the Prosperous Armenia Party faction and president of the Armenian National Olympic Committee, who serves as the deputy mayor of Balakhovit.
The hospital has indicated that the victim's life and health are not in danger.
Materials are being prepared in connection with the incident at the investigative division of the Kotayk police department.
