We Are Not Afraid of Anyone: Osipian at Meeting with My Step Deputies

The newspaper "Zhoghovourd" reports that members of the ruling "My Step" faction held a meeting yesterday with the Chief of Police of Armenia, Valery Osipian. Details of the meeting, which lasted more than two hours, have emerged.

In particular, among other issues, Osipian was asked about the fight against crime, and one of the deputies complained that the police were afraid of criminals, and instead of arresting them, they were entering into deals with them. In response, Osipian stated that there is zero tolerance towards crime.

Later, in an interview with "Zhoghovourd," Osipian noted, "Show me a police officer who is afraid, and I will dismiss him from the police. I assure you, neither the Chief of Police of the Republic of Armenia nor the entire police force, this big family, is afraid of anyone."
